Marvel Studio Finds Its Angel For ‘X-Men’ With Asa Germann

Marvel Studios has found another X-Men. Asa Germann has joined the cast of the highly anticipated X-Men film, alongside previously announced Christopher Abbott, Adam Driver, Samara Weaving, Sadie Sink, Kit Connor, Inde Navarrette, and Maya Boyd.

Set to be directed by Jake Schreier, Asa will be taking on the role of original X-Men member, Warren Worthington III, better known as Angel. Details on the upcoming film are being kept tightly under wraps, but fans are already beginning to notice that the team being built for this film differs from both the comics and the animated series. In the original comics, Angel, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Beast, Ice Man, and Professor X are the original crew, where as in the animated series it is Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, Wolverine, Best, Rogue, and Gambit. This film is shaping up to be a mix of the two teams. It begs the question if we will see Best, Ice Man, or even Gambit get nods in the film.
