Tom Holland and Zendaya Bring ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ to Shanghai

Tom Holland and Zendaya brought Spider-Man: Brand New Day to Shanghai this past Thursday, July 23, and Friday, July 24. This is one of the final stops on the duo’s press tour as the movie is set to hit theaters this coming Friday, July 31.

On Thursday, the pair took photos before meeting with international press to discuss the movie. Then on Friday, the couple visited the Shanghai Film Art Center for the movie’s Fan Event.

“Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.”

They will now head back to the  United States where they will do a couple of more days of press before the officially wrap.  Again, the movie opens in theaters this Friday.
