SDCC 2026: Nickelodeon is All About the Slime With this Year’s Booth and Offsite Activation

Nickelodeon brought a brand new booth and offsite to this year’s San Diego Comic Con. The booth, which also features exclusive merch, and offsite are centered around Nickelodeon’s favorite thing, slime.
At their “Fun-Ergy Factory” booth (#4113), in true Nickelodeon fashion, guests are asked to take part in a small activity where they use their strength to “generate” enough slime to create a waterfall of slime. If physical activity isn’t open your alley, guests can take part in a photo op with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and create an AI video of themselves getting slimed.
However, the Nickelodeon fun doesn’t stop there. Outside the Convention Center, located at The New Children’s Museum, the company has setup the “Fun Flows Here” Outdoor Activation. Here, guests can take part in a bunch of family friendly activities. From popsicles in the shape of SpongeBob SquarePants to a free gift, there is enough to keep kids entertained for hours.
However, the highlight of the activation is the chance to get slimed. That’s right, guests can enter a chamber, poncho included, and get slimed. This line was long, so be prepared to wait if this is something you want to do. If not, you can opt to take home your own jar of slime. This reminded me very much of the “Ivan’s Ooze” from the Mighty Morphin Power Ranges Movie. I hope our parents don’t become brainwashed and used to dig up exoskeletons.
If slime doesn’t appeal to you at all, there are a number of photo ops, even some with your favorite Nickelodeon characters, an interactive show, and a chance to take part in their “Let’s Draw” activity.
Between the booth or the offsite activation, I have to say the activation was more engaging. Though aimed more towards kids, there was more to do and see then what they had inside the Convention Center. For those who are not attending the Con, but live in the area, the activation is free!
