The Fast and the Furious franchise is coming to the small screen. Peacock is currently working on a TV series based on the hit franchise. Vin Diesel made the announcement during Peacock’s presentation at the NBCUniversal Upfronts today, May 11 in New York City. Mike Daniels (Sons of Anarchy, Shades of Blue, Rockford Files) and Wolfe Coleman (Shades of Blue) will act as co-showrunners and are currently working on the pilot episode. Alicia Silverstone is bringing Cher back to our screens. Though this time, instead of the big screen, Silverstone will be reprising the beloved blonde in an upcoming Clueless series for Peacock. As of right now, there are little to no details about the project. However, according to Deadline, “It is written and executive produced by the Gossip Girl duo of Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage of Fake Empire and Dollface creator Jordan Weiss, with the 1995 movie’s writer-director Amy Heckerling and producer Robert Lawrence also executive producing.” Let’s just hope that this isn’t, as Cher would say, “full-on Monet”.

Molly Ephraim has landed a new role! The actress is set to star in Peacock’s The Office spin-off alongside Duane Shepard Sr. , Allan Havey, Nate Jackson, Mo Welch, Nancy Lenehan, and Tracy Letts. The spin-off follows “The documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch is in search of a new subject when they discover a historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it.” Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, Tim Key, and Eric Rahill will also star in the series.
