A sneak peek look at what’s to come on Lanterns has been released. The show premiered its first episode last night, August 16 on HBO.

Starring Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre, “The series follows new recruit John Stewart (Aaron Pierre) and Lantern legend Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler), two intergalactic cops drawn into a dark, earth-based mystery as they investigate a murder in the American heartland.”
