Nicholas Hoult Joins the Cast of the ‘Harry Potter’ TV Series

Nicholas Hoult is joining the Harry Potter franchise! The actor is set to join the cast of the new HBO Max Harry Potter series as Gilderoy Lockhart.

The actor will make his debut appearance as the character in the show’s second season. Based on the second book in the series, Chamber of Secrets, Lockhart teaches Defense Against the Dark Arts to Harry during his second year at Hogwarts.

Filming on the new season is set to take place this Fall. The first season of the series will premiere on the streaming platform this Winter.

I can’t wait to see Hoult’s take on the character. I think he can pull off playing the vain winner of Witch Weekly’s Most Charming Smile Award.
