SDCC 2026: Guests Can Immerse Themselves in the World of ‘Dungeon Crawler Carl’ & ‘Bobiverse’ at their “Level Up Lounge’
Audible is capitalizing off of one of its more popular audio books, Dungeon Crawler Carl, with its new offsite, Audible’s “Level Up Lounge”. Located at Swing Social (527 Fifth Ave, San Diego, CA 92101), the offsite brings fans into the world of the popular LitRPG worlds, Dungeon Crawler Carl and Bobiverse.
When you enter the offsite, guests get a chance to earn a pin representing the journey they will be taking on this offsite. Using scratchers, guests can either end up being a “Listener”, “Collector”, “Challenger”, or a “Lore Master”. Once this task is complete, guests can begin their exploration of the offsite.
It is here where guests can complete 4 different tasks to earn “XP Points”. The tasks include, leveling up your look, leaving a message in the “BobNet,” the interstellar digital communication network featured in Bobiverse, leave a “Crawler Incident Report”, and sample some of Audible’s audiobooks.
While these tasks are going on, fans can take part in different photo ops, enjoy snacks and beverages, and listen to some pretty good music. At the end, fans can use the “XP Points” they earned to nab some cool prizes.
Now, I opened this feature by just mentioning Dungeon Crawler Carl because the offsite primarily focuses on that audiobook. The Bobiverse series is seen throughout the offiste, but not nearly as much as Carl. As a fan of the Dungeon Crawler Carl series, I was happy that this was the focus of the offsite.
