Gaten Matarazzo To Make West End Debut In ‘RENT’
Gaten Matarazzo is heading to the West End. The young actor is set to make his West End debut in the upcoming revival of Tony winning musical, RENT.
In this new production, Gaten will be taking on the role of the musical’s resident documentary filmmaker, Mark. “Set in Manhattan in the 1990s and inspired by Puccini’s opera La Bohème, the hit musical follows a group of young East Village artists, performers, and philosophers as they struggle through the hardships of poverty, societal discord, and the AIDS epidemic while searching for life, love, and art.”
Previews are set to get underway on September 26 at the Duke of York’s Theatre before opening night on October 8.
