Maisie Williams Set to Lead New Thriller

Maisie Williams has landed a new role! The former Game of Thrones star is set to lead the new thriller, Ignition.

Also starring Rory Kinnear and Lovi Poe, Variety is reporting, “Williams plays Sylvie Johnson, whose drive to London is thrown into chaos when an anonymous caller informs her that a bomb has been planted in her car. Trapped and cut off from any outside help, Sylvie is forced to follow the terrorist’s instructions, her every move watched, and with no choice to deliver the ticking bomb to its target — the Royal Albert Hall. Sylvie must confront her deepest secrets, use all her wits to survive and uncover why, of all people, she’s been entangled in this elaborate terror plot.”

Currently in post production, WestEnd Films is currently shopping the film and is expected to shop it at Marché du Film in Cannes this May.
