The first official poster for the new Wizards of Waverly Place reunion special, The Wizards Return: Alex vs Alex, has been released. This new special is set to air on Disney Channel in March.

According to EW, “the special will follow Selena Gomez’s Alex and the rest of the Russo family as they visit long-lost relatives in Tuscany. A spell goes wrong and splits Alex in two, resulting in an Evil Alex who wants to take over the world — and a Good Alex who must stop Evil Alex at any cost. The story leads to a climactic battle between Alex’s two selves atop the Leaning Tower of Pisa.”

I am so freaking excited for this!! Also, I see you Evil Alex trying to be like Rogue from the X-Men with that white stripe in your hair.

Selena also chatted with the magazine about filming with her Spring Breaker costars, Ashley Benson, Vanessa Hudgens, and Rachel Korine. She revealed to the magazine, “It was always us four girls.

We’d go to our favorite restaurants, we’d go to the movies–Ashley and I saw The Hunger Games. We went shopping, we went on boat rides, we slept over in each other’s hotel rooms. It was really fun!”

Selena Gomez was seen making her way through the John F. Kennedy Airport last night, January 17, in New York City. Selena just hopped off a flight from Los Angeles when she was spotted by the photogs.

Selena will be performing an acoustic charity concert for UNICEF tomorrow night. The event will be held at the Best Buy Theater and will also feature Bridgit Mendler.

I can’t wait to see footage from the show tomorrow night. It has been way too long since Selena has take the stage!

The Spring Breakers star is heading to the Big Apple to perform a one-night-only concert at the Best Buy Theater this Saturday, January 19. The UNICEF acoustic charity show will also feature Bridgit Mendler.

Selena Gomez is on the cover of the February issue of Nylon Magazine. In the issue she chatted about love, Taylor Swift, Spring Breakers, and so much more.

On love: “I’m having fun. At the end of the day, love is such a normal thing, and everyone deals with it. Just because it’s a different lifestyle doesn’t change the meaning of what I’ve been raised on, which is fairy tales.”

On Taylor Swift: “We both experienced the same things at the same time. But we’ve never once talked about our industry. She just became the person I’d go to for an issue with my family or boyfriend. It’s so hard to trust girls, so I’m lucky to have her.”

On Spring Breakers: “I definitely felt that with my first stepping-out role, I should choose something that I could understand a little more. I was really nervous, but Harmony took a chance with me. He said, ‘You live in this bubble, and I’m going to take you out of it, but you have to trust me.'”

In the special, “The Russo family and friends are headed to Tuscany, Italy, to meet their long lost relatives… but when Alex tries to prove she’s more than a seemingly carefree young Wizard, she inadvertently conjures a spell that creates a Good Alex and an Evil Alex.

When Evil Alex gets roped into a charming young wizard’s foreboding plan to take over the world, Good Alex must find a way to save her family and humankind, which leads to a monumental battle between the two versions of herself – all atop the Tower of Pisa.”

No word has been released on when the special will air, but it will be a one-hour episode on Disney Channel. I hope we get a trailer for the episode soon!

Selena Gomez may have a new man! The actress, who earlier this week was linked to The Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson, was spotted with Australian actor Luke Bracey at the Golden Globes this past weekend.

According to US Weekly, Selena and Luke (who also starred in Monte Carlo with Selena) were seen “holding hands” and getting “super close”. Selena and longtime boyfriend, Justin Bieber, ended things for good at the end of 2012.
