SDCC 2026: Disney Unveils New ‘Percy Jackson & the Olympians” Offsite Experience

Disney once again hosted an offsite for its extremely popular Disney+ show, Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Taking place on the corner of 5th and L Street (main entrance to the Gaslamp Quarter), the experience allows fans to pick their hero’s journey as they step into a titan-sized trident.

The choices guests can choose between are the following gods or goddess, Athena, Poseidon, or Zeus. Hint, at the time of our visit Zeus’ line went faster than Athena and Poseidon’s so if you are in a hurry observe which of the lines is faster and jump into it. Once chosen, guests receive a bracelet and a scroll explaining what they will need to look for on their journey.

Once inside the trident, fans can locate the specific images attached to their journey and unlock props and costumes from the series. At the end, each guest partakes in a photo op that mimics “The Titan’s Curse”. Depending on which path you chose will determine your photo op. Seeing as BB did Athena and Poseidon, the choices are holding up the sky to prevent it from crashing down or seizing control of water. After guests complete their photo, they receive 1 of 12 mystery Camp Half-Blood pins.

Compared to last year’s experience, this one pales in comparison. The attention detail this year is phenomenal, but the story building they did last year was worth the long wait. With only one day left at the Con, it may not be how you want to spend your final day. But, if you are a huge Percy Jackson fan, you are going to want to check it out just for the photo op and pin. Finally, be sure to listen to the attendants as you exit, there may just be an exclusive surprise in the Convention Hall as well.
