SDCC 2026: Adult Swim Returns for Another Year of ‘Party on The Green’
Adult Swim returned for another year of its “Party on The Green” offsite. Like previous years, this offsite sits directly behind the convention center, and it is all by it’s lonesome self back there.
The highlight of this offsite is the Rick And Morty immersive ride, The RAMbler. Inspired by the carnival ride, The Scrambler, this ride finds the rider immersed in the chaotic world of Rick and Morty. Compared to the slides they had last year, this choice of ride is a huge step up for Adult Swim. The line for this ride moved pretty fast, so it shouldn’t cause too much of a backup for those who plan to attend. But if flashing lights, motion sickness, or loud music are a bother, the suggestion is to avoid this ride during the visit.
Other than that, the offsite has a number of smaller activities to keep guests entertained. Starting as guests venture past The RAMbler is a “free hole”, where people can put their hand in a hole and walk away with a goodies. There is a “paint your face hole”, where you can have your face painted and a President Curtis slingshot game featuring creatures from the upcoming series.
On the other side of the offsite, guests can participate in a Haha, You Clowns mini-golf challenge featuring the Campbell Boys, the chance to ride Smiling Friends’ Mr. Boss, and an eight-foot-tall Marshall fountain from Common Side Effects, where attendees get the chance to win a prize.
This year’s offsite was a much needed change for Adult Swim. Their “Pirate Party”, which has been their go-to for the past few years, was getting a little outdated. For them to opt to change the theme was a smart move. The offsite felt refreshing, with quite a bit more to do for those attending. The smaller activities are fun and move quickly, but the true star of the offsite is The RAMbler. If you make it into the activation, this is going to be a must rise.
The offsite officially opens to the public tomorrow, July 23 and runs through Saturday, July 25 from 1pm–10pm and Sunday, July 26, from 11am-4pm. Over the course of the activiation, Adult Swim will hold a variety of events that can be found below.
Thursday (7/23): Night of New: Exclusive Content Screening – Adult Swim kicks off Comic-Con weekend with an exclusive outdoor screening event where fans will get a first look at a collection of never-before-seen content, including surprise previews and can’t-miss reveals from across the network.
Friday (7/24): Live Table Reads – Join the voice casts of Rick and Morty for an exclusive live table read featuring laughs, surprises and a rare behind-the-scenes look at the talent bringing these fan-favorite worlds to life.
Saturday (7/25): Adult Swim Through the Years – Don your favorite Adult Swim-inspired cosplay and join a one-night-only celebration of 25 years of unforgettable characters, moments and mayhem, featuring a live animated visual set from Afuchs Twin.
