Rachel Zegler, Gaten Matarazzo, & More Star in First Look Photo from Lin-Manuel Miranda’s ‘Octet’
Vanity Fair has unveiled the first look at Lin-Manuel Miranda’s new film, Octet. Starring Rachel Zegler, Gaten Matarazzo, Amanda Seyfried, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Phillipa Soo, Jonathan Groff, Tramell Tillman, and Paul-Jordan Jansen, the film currently has no release date.
Based off the Off-Broadway musical from Dave Malloy, this new film “…explores the topic of internet addiction as told through an eight-person support group meeting in a church basement.”
As production has wrapped on the film, Miranda is now seeking distribution for the film. Once that is secured we should have a release date.
I can’t imagine studios will shy away from this one! Hopefully, we will get some positive news in the coming days.
