STARZ Begins Development On The Adaptation Of Lauren Palphreyman’s Romantasy Series, ‘The Wolf King’

STARZ has officially picked up the TV adaptation rights to the hit romantasy series, The Wolf King, from author, Lauren Palphreyman. The network made the announcement earlier today, June 25.

Currently in active development, the series will focus on the first book in the series, The Wolf King, which follows the princess, “…Aurora, after being abducted from a world that treated her as a decorative pawn, uncovering her own wild strength in this sweeping romantasy. Ensnared in a lethal love triangle, she is thrust into a war between humankind and her feral captors, forcing her to decide whether she’s a prize to be claimed or the master of her own destiny.”

Tanya Saracho is set to be the series showrunner and executive producer. If the series  is picked up for numerous seasons, it will focus on the next two books in the trilogy, The Night Prince, and the The Wolf Queen.

As someone who has read this series, this only makes sense.
