Jane Austen’s ‘Sense and Sensibility’ Comes to Life in First Trailer for Focus Features Film

The trailer for Focus Features’ new film, Sense and Sensibility has been released. Based on the iconic novel by Jane Austen, the film stars Daisy Edgar-Jones, Esmé Creed-Miles, Caitríona Balfe, George MacKay, and Fiona Shaw.

“Sense and Sensibility is set in southwest England, London and Kent between 1792 and 1797, and portrays the life and loves of the Dashwood sisters, Elinor and Marianne. The novel follows the young ladies to their new home, a meagre cottage on a distant relative’s property, where they experience love, romance and heartbreak. ”

The film will be released to theaters October 16.
