Daniel Radcliffe, Stephanie Hsu, Ayo Edebiri, & Lea Michele Attend the Drama League Awards
Daniel Radcliffe, Stephanie Hsu, Ayo Edebiri, and Lea Michele attended the 92nd Annual Drama League Awards today, May 15, in New York City. The award show is the longest running award show in the drama community and all winners are selected by members of the theatre community.
All four stars were nominated for “Distinguished Performance”, but the award went to Ragtime’s Joshua Henry. The Drama League awards are typically a precursor to the Tony Awards, which will be held on June 7.
Radcliffe and Hsu are the only two of the four to be nominated for this year’s Tony Awards. Radcliffe for “Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play” for his performance in Every Brilliant Thing and Hsu for “Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical” for her performance in Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show.
