‘Fourth Wing’ TV Series is a Go at Prime Video

Prime Video has officially greenlit it’s Fourth Wing series. Michael B. Jordan and author, Rebecca Yarros, were among the stars who took the stage during Amazon’s Upfronts presentation today, May 11, in New York City to announce the news.

Jordan’s Outlier Society will be acting as an executive producer on the project. Meredith Averill is set to adapt the book for television, and will serve as showrunner and executive producer. Lisa Joy, co-founder of Kilter Films and executive producer of the series, is set to direct the pilot. These two ladies also joined Jordan and Yarros on stage for the announcement.

In the series, “Violet Sorrengail is forced by her mother to enter the brutal world of Basgiath War College. Based on the fantasy adventure from NYT bestselling author Rebecca Yarros, Violet joins hundreds of candidates striving to become the elite of Navarre: dragon riders.”
