Moana Comes To Life In First Trailer For ‘Moana’

Disney has released the first trailer for their latest live action creation, Moana. This new film, based on the animated flick of the same name, stars Catherine Lagaʻaia and Dwayne Johnson, who will be reprising his role as Maui.

In this new film, “Moana (Catherine Lagaʻaia) answers the Ocean’s call and, for the first time, voyages beyond the reef of her island of Motunui with the infamous demigod Maui (Dwayne Johnson) on an unforgettable journey to restore prosperity to her people.” The film features original songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Opetaia Foaʻi and Mark Mancina, and will hit theaters on July 10.
