‘Lord of the Flies’ is Coming to Netflix

Netflix has announced Adolescence’ writer Jack Thorne’s adaptation of William Golding’s Lord of the Flies is coming to the streaming platform. It will premiere all 4 episodes on May 4.
“Innocence descends into savagery when a group of English schoolboys becomes desert island castaways in the first television adaptation of William Golding’s landmark dystopian classic.”
The series stars Winston Sawyers as Ralph, Lox Pratt as Jack, David McKenna as Piggy, and Ike Talbut as Simon. Thomas Connor appears as Roger, Noah, and Cassius Flemyng as twins Sam and Eric, Cornelius Brandreth as Maurice, and Tom Page-Turner as Bill – alongside an ensemble of more than 30 boys playing the desert island camp’s “biguns” and “littluns”.
