Shay Mitchell Returns To TV In New ‘Baywatch’ Series

Shay Mitchell is returning to the small screen! The actress is set to star in the upcoming Baywatch sequel series for FOX.

According to Deadline, “In a series regular role, Mitchell will play Trina, a former lawyer who walked away from a top-tier firm to dedicate herself to lifeguarding full-time. Trina is the sharpest mind on Baywatch. Passionate and dedicated, she tends to follow her heart … even if she often uses her considerable intelligence to second-guess herself.”

Shay will join previously announced Stephen Amell, Thaddeus LaGrone, Jessica Belkin, Hassie Harrison, Brooks Nader, and David Chokachi. Production is set to get underway later this year and the series is set to air on FOX during the 2026-2027 season.
