John Stewart Steps Into The Spotlight In First Teaser For ‘Lanterns’

HBO has released the first teaser for their new series, Lanterns. Based on the DC Comics’ superheroes from Green Lantern, this new series stars Aaron Pierre, Kyle Chandler, Kelly Macdonald, Garret Dillahunt, Poorna Jagannathan, and Ulrich Thomsen.

“The series follows new recruit John Stewart and Lantern legend Hal Jordan, two intergalactic cops drawn into a dark, earth-based mystery as they investigate a murder in the American heartland.”

The first season will drop on HBO this August.
