Maitreyi Ramakrishnan Joins the Cast of ‘Elle’

Maitreyi Ramakrishnan has landed a new role. The actress has joined the cast of Prime Video’s new series, Elle.

A prequel series to the hit movie, Legally Blonde, Ramakrishnan is set to play Sam. The complete opposite of Elle, Sam is the founder, editor-in-chief, and lord baron of the school newspaper, the commissioner of the grammar police, and the enemy of joy. Set to premiere this July, in Season One, Elle follows Elle Woods in high school as we learn about the life experiences that shaped her into the iconic young woman we came to know and love in the first Legally Blonde film.
