Exclusive: Tanzyn Crawford Discusses Tanselle Pivotal Moments In ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’

HBO is set to release their latest Game of Thrones spinoff, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms in the next few days. Based off the novella, The Hedge Knight, BeautifulBallad had the opportunity to catch up with one of the stars of the series, Tanzyn Crawford.

On whether she things Tanselle she might be a little worried that she’s on the Targaryens’ bad side now: “I’m sure that would be a worry for her. Although I think the kind of beauty of her lifestyle is that she could just disappear. Maybe in the back of her mind, but I don’t think it’s like plaguing her every day to be on the watch for Targaryens.”

On where she thinks Tanselle is after the events of the Episode: “In the moment of that scene, I thought, ‘What is she thinking? What is her game plan?’ Because obviously this is quite a dangerous situation. Where she goes and how she continues her journey, I try not to think about that too much because I felt that was maybe a bit overwhelming. And maybe in those moments she can’t even think and it is a mystery. So I didn’t want to plan anything. Also I like that it maybe could be like up for interpretation a little bit. So I left it. And then what people get from it, what they decide is what they decide.”
