McKenna Grace Lands Role As Daphne In New ‘Scooby-Doo’ Series For Netflix
Mckenna Grace has landed a new role! The young actress will be playing Daphne in the upcoming live adaptation of Scooby-Doo.
Based on the beloved Hanna-Barbera characters, “During their final summer at camp, old friends Shaggy and Daphne get embroiled in a haunting mystery surrounding a lonely lost Great Dane puppy that may have been a witness to a supernatural murder. Together with the pragmatic and scientific townie, Velma, and the strange, but ever so handsome new kid, Freddy, they set out to solve the case that is pulling each of them into a creepy nightmare that threatens to expose all of their secrets.”
Additional cast has yet to be announced. However, production hopes to get underway later this year with Netflix eyeing a 2027 release date.
Hopefully, Berlanti Productions will make this more of a Chilling Adventures of Sabrina show and less a Riverdale show.
