Production Begins On ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2’
Production has officially begun on How To Train Your Dragon 2. Star of the film’s franchise, Mason Thames, took to his social media to announce the exciting news earlier today, January 28.
Mason will be reprising his role as Hiccup in the upcoming sequel to the 2025 adventure film. Joining him in this new film will be Nico Parker, Gerard Butler, and Nick Frost, who will be reprising their roles from the first film, along with Cate Blanchett. Blanchett will be taking on the role of Hiccup’s mother, Valka, who she voiced in the animated How to Train Your Dragon 2.
Fans can look forward to How To Train Your Dragon 2 in 2027.
