The Nominations for the 2026 Academy Awards Announced
The nominations for the 2026 Academy Awards were announced this morning, January 22. Sinners was nominated for the most awards receiving 16 nominations including Best Picture.
Emma Stone became the youngest woman in history to be nominated for seven Academy Awards. The actress received a nomination for “Actress in a Leading Role” for Bugonia. Timothée Chalamet also made history when he became the youngest male to be nominated for three Academy Awards. He earned a nominated for “Actor in a Leading Role” for Marty Supreme.
Elle Fanning earned her very first nomination for “Actress in a Supporting Role” for Sentimental Value, while Jacob Elordi also received his first nomination for “Actor in a Supporting Role” for Frankenstein.
