Kristen Stewart Shares Interest In Directing ‘Twilight’ Remake

Kristen Stewart is interested in returning to the world of Twilight. The star revealed to Entertainment Tonight in the above interview that she would be interested in remaking the franchise as its director.

Stewart told the entertainment outlet, “Imagine if we had like a huge budget and a bunch of love and support. I would love to readapt.” When asked if she would step in to direct, Stewart revealed, “Yeah, sure. I’ll do the remake. I’m doing it. I’m committed.”

Based on the novels by Stephanie Meyer, Stewart originally starred as the Bella Swan in the move franchise. I would love to see her take on the series. It is not often the actor or actress who starred in the original comes back to direct the remake. I think she definitely has what it takes to pull it off.
