Milo Manheim and Freya Skye Among Stars Testing for Lead Roles in Live-Action ‘Tangled’

Casting news is beginning to emerge surrounding Walt Disney Studios’ live-action, Tangled. Screen tests and chemistry reads were apparently held in London last week and The Hollywood Reporter has released details from the events.

Apparently, Freya Skye, Sarah Catherine Hook, Teagan Croft, and Olivia-Mai Barrett were among the ladies who tested for the role of Rapunzel. Lola Tung was asked to test for the role, “but did not test as she may have a scheduling conflict.”.

For the role of Flynn Rider, Milo Manheim, Charlie Gillespie, and Gilli Jones tested. No word on when casting decisions will be made, but Disney is eying a June production start date, so we should hear some news in the coming weeks.
