KJ Apa Stars as Jimmy Stewart in First Teaser for ‘JIMMY’

KJ Apa stars in the first teaser trailer for JIMMY. The bio pic features Apa as the iconic Jimmy Stewart, and he is joined in the film by an all-star cast including Kara Killmer, Neal McDonough, Jason Alexander Christopher McDonald, Sarah Drew, and Rob Riggle.

“JIMMY, the untold true story of America’s most-beloved actor and the iconic role that saved him, focuses on the most transformative season in Jimmy Stewart’s life—from winning the Academy Award® for Best Actor in The Philadelphia Story to enlisting and becoming a combat pilot in the U.S. Army Air Corps at the beginning of World War II. The film will be released to theaters on November 6. I have a feeling this film will play the festival circuit before it’s released. Holy moly does Apa sound great as Stewart!
