‘Stranger Things’ Lives On with New Animated Series

In honor of Stanger Things day, Netflix has announced a brand new animated series based off the hit show. Entitled, Stranger Things: Tales From ‘85, the new animated series takes place between Season 2 and 3.

“Welcome back to Hawkins in the stark winter of 1985, where the original characters must fight new monsters and unravel a paranormal mystery terrorizing their town in Stranger Things: Tales From ’85, an epic new animated series.”

None of the live-action stars are set to voice their characters in the animated series, but Netflix has put together a pretty good cast to take their place. The cast set to voice characters in the new series include Brooklyn Davey Norstedt as Eleven, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Max, Luca Diaz as Mike, Elisha “EJ” Williams as Lucas, Braxton Quinney as Dustin, Ben Plessala as Will and Brett Gipson as Hopper. Additional voice cast includes Odessa A’zion, Janeane Garofalo and Lou Diamond Phillips.

The series will premiere on Netflix in 2026.
