The Jonas Brothers are on the cover of ESQUIRE magazine. The trio is on the cover to promote their tour, JONAS20 Tour. Highlights from their interview are below.
Joe on including Demi Lovato as a guest on tour: “I wrote Demi Lovato to see if she would be up for it. She was. That was really special. It set the tone for us to bring out familiar faces and artists who mean something to us, who matter. We didn’t want to bring out just anyone; we wanted to bring out people who we felt could really speak to our journey.”
Kevin on how this tour feels different: “This time around, I think we’ve really learned to understand and respect each other’s individuality. For so long, the mothership was the mothership. Nothing was more important than the band, and everything else came second. But now we can celebrate each other’s solo music.”
Nick on self-belief: “You know, I do have an immense amount of belief in myself. But also a healthy dose of self-doubt. I’ve been humbled enough times. Things go wrong in live music and live theater; things have failed to perform commercially the way that didn’t reach my benchmark. The impostor syndrome can creep in for anyone.”
