Elizabeth Olsen Covers the Digital Issue of InStyle

Elizabeth Olsen is on the cover of InStyle Now. The actress is on the cover of the magazine’s Fall 2025 digital issue.
In the interview, Olsen talks why she won’t star in movies made for streaming, growing up in Hollywood, leaving Instagram, and not returning, her new movie, Eternity, why she likes working for Marvel, and so much more. Highlights can be found below.
On not returning to Instagram: “If you put yourself out there, people think that you want them to come in. I think for me, I don’t want anyone to know my personality all that well. Or identify me as someone who does a specific type of goofy trope video or something on Instagram once a month. I don’t want people to associate me with a brand; I want people to watch a movie and see me as a character. I think there are people who do both beautifully. I don’t think it means that someone can’t be online and also a great actor.”
On why she likes working for Marvel: “It’s the consistency of a community and a job, which is hard to find. The insane camera movement, stunt work, and special effects, visual effects that are happening in real time. It’s a lot of coordination, it’s hundreds and hundreds of people on set, and it’s a powerful thing to be a part of all those people working towards one goal. The people doing the visual effects are artists.“
