Filming Continues on ‘Harry Potter’ Series

Dominic McLaughlin and Nick Frost were spotted filming new scenes for HBO’s new Harry Potter series this past Sunday, August 17, in London. The pair were seen on Borough Street filming scenes featured in the first book of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

Production on the new series began this past July at Leavesden Studios, the home of the original Harry Potter movies. Apparently, the scenes being filmed this past weekend featured Hagrid (Frost) bringing Harry (McLaughlin) to Diagon Alley via the Leaky Cauldron.

The Blue Maid is apparently being used as the exterior for the famous Leaky Cauldron. Nothing has been confirmed, but if true, this pub is going to find itself with a whole slew of visitors over the coming years.
