Disney Greenlights New Series, ‘Coven Academy’

Disney Branded Television has a new series in the works! Entitled, Coven Academy, the series has been given the greenlight to begin production with the plan to have the series premiere on Disney Channel and Disney+ in 2026.

Set against the moody backdrop of New Orleans, Coven Academy follows a trio of teenage witches-in-training who are bound by destiny to guard their city against dangerous, ancient forces. Between unraveling dark secrets, mastering volatile magic, and facing off against distractingly cute rivals, they must also navigate the heartbreaks and deep bonds that come with growing up.”

The series will star Malina Pauli Weissman as Briar, Tiffani Thiessen as Miss Graves, Malachi Barton as Jake, Louis Thresher as Ollie, Jordan Leftwich as Sasha and Ora Duplass as Tegan.

The season will also feature Brendon Tremblay as Alexander, Swayam Bhatia as McKenna, and Keegan Connor Tracy as Tamora in guest starring roles!
