Elle Fanning Brings ‘Predator: Badlands’ to SDCC

Elle Fanning stopped by Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con today, July 25. The actress was at the Con to promote her new film, Predator: Badlands.

Moderated by Kevin Simth, Fanning was joined onstage at the convention by her costar, Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi, and the film’s director/producer Dan Trachtenberg. Fans in attendance were given Predator masks, which they wore to welcome the cast and crew on to the Hall H stage.

A 7-foot-tall real-life Predator also visited Hall H where it used its heat signature abilities to scope the room, zeroing in on Smith. Fans also got the chance to check out the first 15 minutes of the movie and were gifted an exclusive SDCC Predator: Badlands poster.

“The newest entry in the “Predator” franchise is set in the future on a remote planet, where a young Predator (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi), outcast from his clan, finds an unlikely ally in Thia (Elle Fanning) and embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary.”

It will hit theaters on November 7, 2025!
