REVIEW: ABC Gets A+ with Its “A Very Abbott Block Party” Activation at SDCC

ABC once again brought the fun of Abbott Elementary back to San Diego Comic Con with another spectacular offsite! However, unlike last year’s ” AVA Fest “A Very Abbott Festival”, the network opted for a traditional Philadelphia block party, with this year’s edition, “A Very Abbott Block Party”.
As attendees enter the offsite, the party is in full swing with a DJ dropping the tunes and keeping all those who enter highly entertained. And it’s not just the DJ making you feel good, the staff was hands down one of the most joyful swe have encountered across any activation. Even with the few minor hiccups faced during our visit, every single one of them had a smile on their face, and was willing to go above and beyond to keep the party going.
As for activities inside the offsite, there is a plethora of things to do. They can head over to the schools’ lost and found to design their own custom exclusives. Nab a photo in front of the school, where staff will change it over to animated photo. They can also take a spin on the massive Ferris Wheel or cool off with some Philly water ice (Rita’s Italian Ice).
A word of warning, the exclusive pins go quick. If this is something on your bucket list to get, try and do that as first ting in the morning. If not, expect a bit of a wait for some of the activities, but an overall enjoyable experience.
Grade: A+
