Walt Disney Studios Hosts the Premiere of ‘Freakier Friday’

Walt Disney Studios hosted the Los Angeles premiere of Freakier Friday last night, July 22, in Los Angeles. Held at the El Capitan Theatre, Lindsay Lohan, Jamie Lee Curtis, Manny Jacinto, Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons and Chad Michael Murray were all smiles as they walked the carpet before heading inside for the screening.

Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Aryan Simhadri were among the stars who came out to the support the stars in honor of their new film. In the film, Curtis and Lohan reprise their roles as Tess and Anna Coleman. The story picks up years after Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) endured an identity crisis. Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice.

The film will be released to theaters on August 8, 2025. Can we talk about The Parent Trap reunion that happened on the carpet?!
