TIFF Announces 2025 Line-Up

The Toronto International Film Festival has announced its 2025 line-up and some of our favorite stars’ films will premiere at the iconic film festival.

Sydney Sweeney’s biopic, Christy, is set to hold its World Premiere at the festival. Based on the life of 1990s’ boxer, Christy Martin, Sweeney is set to star as the famous female boxer. Saoirse Ronan’s Bad Apples is set to make its World Premiere at the festival. “The satirical thriller Bad Apples stars Saoirse Ronan (Ladybird) as a primary school teacher forced to take drastic action because of a foul-mouthed, violent student, and uncovers how her community will turn a blind eye to the most outrageous events to preserve harmony and their sense of safety.”

Elizabeth Olsen, Callum Turner, and Miles Tellers’ Eternity will also hold its World Premiere. “Set in the afterlife, this stirring drama from director David Freyne features Elizabeth Olsen and Miles Teller as souls in transit — and a troubled love triangle.”

Zoey Deutch’s Nouvelle Vague will hold its Canadian Premiere during the Festival and Jacob Elordi’s Frankenstein will hold its North American Premiere. The true story of Bumble founder, Whitney Wolfe Herd, Swiped starring Lily James and Dan Stevens will hold its World Premiere during the Festival.
