Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro In Talks For New Film

Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro are in early talks to star in a new film together. The duo, if talks go through, will star in Amazon MGM Studios’ Artificial, alongside Yura Borisov.

Luca Guadagnino is in talks to direct the film. Deadline is reporting, “…sources say the film revolves around the period at the artificial intelligence company OpenAI in 2023 that saw CEO Sam Altman fired and rehired in a matter of days.”

If everything goes through, this will be the first time Garfield and Barbaro have starred in a movie together. However, on a personal level, the two have been apparently seeing each other since February of this year.
