Disney Channel Reunions & a ‘Phineas & Ferb” Concert Take Center Stage at World Premiere Event for ‘Phineas & Ferb’
Disney hosted the World Premiere event for the return of of Phineas and Ferb yesterday, May 31 in Hollywood. Held at nya studios EAST, the event featured a screening of the premiere episode, a music-filled festival to kick off 104 days of summer vacation, fun photo opps, a giant Whack-A-Pest game, special themed snacks, character meet-and-greets, and more.
Show co-creators, Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh, cast members Ashley Tisdale (Candace) and Vincent Martella (Phineas), and more took the stage to perform songs from the hit animated series for the fans in attendance. Also in attendance were cast members Alyson Stoner (Isabella Garcia-Shapiro), Caroline Rhea (Linda Flynn-Fletcher), David Errigo Jr (Ferb Fletcher), and Dee Bradley Baker (Perry the Platypus).
However, the screening and performances weren’t the only highlights during the event. There were a number of Disney Channel reunions that took place on the carpet. The Suite Life of Zack and Cody stars Phill Lewis and Brian Stepanek surprised Tisdale on the carpet while Stoner posed with her Camp Rock stars Anna Maria Perez de Tagle and Roshon Fegan.
Aryan Simhadri and Brandon T. Jackson united on the carpet! Jackson originated the role of Grover in Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, the role Simhadri now plays on Disney+’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
