Liam Neeson Takes the Lead in First Teaser for ‘The Naked Gun’

Paramount Pictures has released the first teaser for their new film, The Naked Gun starring Liam Neeson. In theaters August 1, the movie is a fourth film in The Naked Gun series, which is based off the hit TV series, Police Squad! starring Leslie Nielsen.

In the film, “Only one man has the particular set of skills… to lead Police Squad and save the world! Lt. Frank Drebin Jr. (Liam Neeson) follows in his father’s footsteps in THE NAKED GUN, directed by Akiva Schaffer and from producer Seth MacFarlane. Joining the case are cast Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, Eddie Yu, with Danny Huston.

Here’s hoping this film is as good as the other ones! I’m not sure Neeson as what it takes to be as good as Nielson was, but I’m hoping he proves me wrong.
