The Scares are Back in First Teaser for ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s 2’

Universal Pictures has unveiled the first teaser trailer for its new horror movie, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. The sequel to the hit 2023 movie, the movie stars Josh Hutcherson and Matthew Lillard.

Set to be released this December, attendees at the 2025 CinemaCon in Las Vegas were the first to view the new footage. Unlike the first movie, the movie will be released to theaters first and then to streaming.

Based on the success of the first movie, this move makes sense. We will have to see whether or not this will impact its opening day number of not.
