Take Your First Look at David Corenswet as Superman

James Gunn has released the first look at David Corenswet as Superman! The Superman director took to his social media pages today, May 6 to share the image.

Production on the new movie is currently underway on the formerly titled, Superman: Legacy. Corenswet is joined in the new movie by Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane), Nicholas Hoult (Lex Luthor), Isabela Merced (Hawkgirl), Skyler Gisondo (Jimmy Olsen), Sara Sampaio (Eve Teschmacher), Nathan Fillion (Guy Gardner), and Wendell Pierce (Perry White).

The movie will be released on July 11, 2025! Here’s hoping we get a look at the new movie at San Diego Comic Con this year. I know Gunn said he would not be at it, but that does not mean WB can’t show something from it!
