BB Exclusive: Author Georgia Hunter Discusses Bringing Her Book, We Were The Lucky Ones To Screen

Hulu is set to premiere their brand new series, We Were The Lucky Ones, in a few short days. Based on the novel by Georgia Hunter, which accounts the Kurc family and their struggle and will to survive during the harrowing events of World War II.

In anticipation of the premiere, BeautifulBallad had the amazing opportunity to chat with author of We Were The Lucky Ones, Georgia Hunter about the new series. During our chat, Georgia spoke about her novel being turned into a limited series and what that process was like for her. She also spoke about the amazing cast, the importance of keeping certain scenes in the series, and so much more.
