Emilia Clarke Receives Most Excellent Order of the British Empire Honors
Emilia Clarke was honored with the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire honors today, February 21. She and her mom received the honors for their charity, SameYou, and charity work when it comes to brain injury recovery.
Present to them by Prince William, Clarke and her mother created the charity after Clarke suffered two brain hemorrhages in 2011 and 2013. The Game of Stars has thankfully recovered from the hemorrhages, but it took countless therapy sessions to get her back into fighting shape. The duo is now set on helping those who have also been impacted by a brain injury and raising funds for research into brain trauma.
