Top Gun 3 in the Works at Paramount

Top Gun 3 is in the early development at Paramount. Puck News is reporting Top Gun: Maverick writer, Ehren Kruger is working on the script, while the film’s director, Joseph Kosinski is rumored to be coming back to direct the third film.

Apparently, the goal is also to have Tom Cruise, Miles Teller, and Glen Powell return for the movie. No other details have been released, but I’ve got to imagine that Paramount will want this movie to be put on the fast track. With Tom Cruise signing a new development deal with Warner Bros., he isn’t going to have much time to work on any movies outside of WB.
