Andrew Garfield Leads Audible’s Retelling of George Orwell’s ‘1984’

George Orwell’s 1984 is getting the audio treatment. Audible is set to release the audio version of the story on April 4, 40 years after the original story was released.

To help bring the story to life, Audible has enlisted an all-star cast which includes Andrew Garfield as Winston alongside Cynthia Erivo as Julia, Tom Hardy as the voice of Big Brother and Andrew Scott as O’Brien.

The audio story will feature an original score composed by Muse front-man Matthew Bellamy and composer Ilan Eshkeri. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios, the score is performed by a 60-piece orchestra.
