Jacob Elordi Covers GQ’s December Men of the Year Issue

Jacob Elordi is on the cover of GQ! The actor is on the cover of the magazine’s December’s Men of The Year issue.

In the issue, Elordi talks his new film, Priscilla, playing Elvis Pressley, his Elvis performance being compared to Austin Butler’s performance as Elvis, starring in The Kissing Booth, the last movie he had seen, being asked to read for Superman, and so much more. Highlights can be found below.

On his Elvis performance being compared to Butler’s: “It certainly crossed my mind briefly before I’d read the script. I don’t want to tell the same story over, especially because he did such a fine job of portraying this man. It’s a completely different thing. And it’s terribly exciting, too, running into the fire a little bit. I can’t think of anything more exhilarating.”

On being asked to read for Superman: “Well, they asked me to read for Superman. That was immediately, ‘No, thank you.’ That’s too much. That’s too dark for me.”

You can read his full interview here. I know these is going to be backlash regarding some of his comments in the interview, but I like how honest he was. He seems like an easy guy to have a coversation with!

The issue will hit newsstands November 28.
