Watch Chris Pine Become a Villian in New Song & Featurette from Disney’s ‘Wish’

In honor of Disney’s Wish being released in one month, Walt Disney Animation has released a new sneak peek and featurette from the movie. Both new clips focus on a new song from the movie, “This Is The Thanks I Get?!” performed by Chris Pine.

The song is the second of five songs being revealed as part of a weekly the movie’s “Wish Wednesdays” music campaign ahead of its release in U.S. theaters on November 22.

“In the movie, people come from all around the world to give their wishes to Magnifico, a charming and confident King who promises to grant their deepest desires—someday. But the King isn’t entirely altruistic; he alone decides whose wish will be granted, and he relishes the control.”

The Wish Original Motion Picture Soundtrack from Walt Disney Records will be available November 17. I like that they are releasing some of the songs from the movie, but I wish they were just sneak peeks. There is something about hearing the song for the first time, in context, that helps make a character/scene. We shall see if the pre-releases of these songs impact my opinion of the movie.
