SDCC Exclusive: Matthew A. Cherry & Mark Davis Chat New Series, Young Love

MAX Animation dropped by San Diego Comic Con this past weekend to debut some of their new projects. One of those projects is the upcoming family series, Young Love, which is based on the characters introduced in the Oscar winning short film, Hair Love. BB had the wonderful opportunity to chat with showrunner Matthew A. Cherry and Supervising Director Mark Davis after their panel premiere.

During our conversation, the pair spoke about the decision to expand on the Hair Love universe with an animated series. The pair also spoke about the themes and topics they will be introducing throughout the series, the importance of family, their own families, and so much more.

Young Love will debut this Fall on MAX.
